|MICHAEL DELLHEIM, Outside In's newly appointed|
Last month, Outside In's Board of Directors appointed Michael Dellheim as the organization's Executive Director. Michael has served as Outside In's Treasurer since it's founding in 1995.
A longtime resident of New Mexico, Michael has spent the past 25 years as a motion picture Location Manager. His credits include The Milagro Beanfield War, Lonesome Dove, The Firm, Selena, No Country for Old Men, Cowboys and Aliens and last-year's Emmy Award-winning HBO film Game Change.
CHRIS ABEYTA leads the
Youth With Promise guitar workshop.
Outside In's flagship Youth With Promise program remains an essential part of our core mission. Founded in 2003, the YWP program is a series of free weekly music, dance and arts educational workshops held at the Santa Fe County Juvenile Detention Facility. We're excited to announce plans to expand the YWP program to reach even more Santa Fe youth in 2013! Watch for more details regarding the opening of the Zona del Sol facility in the Spring of 2013.
CURTIS KNOX showed residents at Rosemont Assisted
Living why he's called "The Entertainer."
With the demands of Santa Fe Bandstand behind us, programming at area nursing homes and assisted living facilities slowly returned to normal. By September, we were providing music to SANTA FE CARE, KINGSTON RESIDENTIAL,
EL CASTILLO RETIREMENT, ROSEMONT ASSISTED LIVING andTHE PASATIEMPO SENIOR CENTER.
This month, we'll provide holiday entertainment to over 17 different facilities in Northern New Mexico. Special thanks to Chris, Amado & Buddy Abeyta, Kevin & Karen McLaughlin and Busy McCarroll for your gift of music.
We're planning to add many additional facilities in the coming year, as the need is great and continually growing. If you know someone in a nursing home or assisted living facility that might enjoy see free weekly musical performances, let us know. We'd be glad to add that facility to our growing list.

|BILLY D AND THE HOODOOS: Always a Bandstand favorite!|
We're happy to report that we've made great progress on the upcoming 2013 Santa Fe Bandstand season. Our just concluded "Call for Artists" returned applications from over 250 eager bands and musicians. The upcoming lineup will be announced in January of 2013, and it promises to be as musically diverse and high-quality as ever.
In response to your comments, we've decided to start the season early next year. We've also increased the length of the season from seven weeks to nine! So start polishing your best dancing shoes and be ready to shake, rattle and roll beginning on the first day summer - June 21, 2013! What a way to welcome summer back to The City Different!

The Plaza last summer because of your support of Outside In.
As you can see, Outside In is well on the way to getting back on our feet. Our plan is to continue moving forward. We want to become more vibrant, more vital, and more sustainable than ever.
BUT WE NEED
As we face this critical point in the life of Outside In, we hope we can count on your continued support of Outside In's core mission. As David liked to say, "We bring light into some pretty dark places."
Your gift of $50 provides an hour of musical entertainment at a senior care facility. Your gift of $150 provides a week of guitar, dance or art instruction to the kids in our Youth With Promise program. That said, no gift is too small or too large.
